Cornelius Luca joined GFT in 2002 as a currencies analyst, providing daily, weekly and monthly commentary on the major foreign exchange markets. Luca is a prominent author and educator in foreign exchange, and has traded and analyzed currencies since 1983.
As a professor of finance, Luca has taught courses at New York University, graduate business courses at Pace University in New York, and the New York Institute of Finance. His published works include Trading in the Global Currencies Markets (Prentice Hall, 3rd ed., 2007), which is a comprehensive analysis of the foreign exchange markets, instruments, players and methods of forecasting.
Luca’s additional publications include Technical Analysis Applications in the Global Currencies Markets (Penguin Books, 3rd ed., 2007), which is an in–depth and unique coverage of currency charting analysis, and Technical Analysis Applications (McGraw-Hill, 2004).
Luca earned a master’s degree in business with a concentration in international business and finance from the New York University’s Leonard Stern Graduate School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in international marketing from the Bernard Baruch College, The City University of New York.
