Fully Redesigned and Engineered, Dealbook FX Version 2.0 Hits the Road

Ada, Michigan, May 23rd, 2003 - Global Forex Trading today announced the release of ITS new trading software DealBookFX TM Version 2.0.

The company's current platform, DealBookFX, already boasts the best uptime stats published of any online trading platform for the past three years and has received a Reader's Choice Award from Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities. DB 2.0 expands upon an already solid platform by offering many upgrades and a more user-friendly format based on client feedback.

Hands-free driving

DealBookFX 2.0 is one of the first to offer users an automated trading system for the foreign exchange markets. This system would allow users to pre-program a trading system where DB 2.0 will enter orders based on the rules of the system. The program also offers traders a voice recognition feature. Combine this with the automated trading system and DB 2.0 offers two virtual "hands free" applications for traders.

Custom options

DB 2.0 offers around 70 classic and proprietary indicators for users. This option is enhanced by the ability to create custom indicators - like a moving average/relative strength index comparison- and then set the alarms to display inside DB 2.0. DB 2.0 offers indicator-based alarms, point and figure charting, Dinapoli levels, and line charts. Bar and candlestick charting is also available. DB 2.0 also allows users to customize their portfolios to monitor over 50 different FX markets in real time.

Dashboard Controls

DB 2.0 offers users the ability to operate critical components of the software without launching the entire application. The "dashboard" floats on the desktop and can be customized to contain certain features one might need throughout the day. This allows users to economize their space.

Roomier interior

DB 2.0 has a redesigned interface. This was done in order to maximize trading workspaces while providing traders with all the important information they need. Users can now tile objects like charts, quote-boards, working orders, positions, and news windows so that the user can truly utilize the full desktop. DB 2.0 economizes the once bulky menu bars, and window headings to allow for additional space savings.

GPS (in this case . . . Global Platform Services)

Traders can stay on top of the global markets with DB 2.0. It provides streaming news and analysis from MMS International, providers of award winning investment information, as well as commentary and analysis on the global financial markets by noted foreign exchange author Cornelius Luca. Users can also chart market changes as they occur on tradable prices and receive live, streaming GFT inter-bank quality dealing prices.

DB 2.0 comes equipped with both of the following packages for all users:

The sport package allows users to move more quickly in the markets, adding such features as trailing stops, cancel/replace-to-market orders, and the new Direct dealing trading interface. The Direct dealing interface in DB 2.0 is designed to give all the tools a trader needs to trade the markets with a single click providing popup "quick" charts to analyze the markets and giving quick snapshots or time and sales of recent price activity.

The luxury package combines the best that technology has to offer - DB 2.0 to start plus access to DB 2.0's easy-to-use API. The API allows clients to send orders directly to the DealBookFX 2.0 order engine, receive real time prices, accurate risk management assessment, and all of the other critical functions of DB 2.0 with the users own trading software or programs. Rounding out the luxury package is GFT Mobile. Built on the same engine as DealBookFX 2.0, GFT Mobile allows DB 2.0 users to go anywhere and trade anywhere with all the important functions of DB 2.0 in the palm of their hand. GFT Mobile comes standard with charting, streaming quotes, working order and position tracking, as well as statements and order history all in full color.
