Trading Tools: What is Pro Commentary?
Pro Commentary offers analysis for all types of traders and trading styles and provides guidance for positions in bullish and bearish markets. A preferred daily directional bias is also provided to highlight the underlying analysis, leaving you with enough information and structure to help you make more informed trading decisions.
Pro Commentary Background
Pro Commentary by FX-Strategy employs the techniques described in Ian Copsey’s book Integrated Technical Analysis (John Wiley 1999), which involves a combination of complementary analysis comprising Elliott Wave, time cycles, pivot analysis and momentum analysis. He further adapted the traditional Elliott Wave techniques and has identified an adaptation of the principle that is unique within the forex market. Overall, his approach and style of analysis has been developed over 22 years in the forex market, with 15 of those years devoted entirely to technical analysis. Copsey feels the analysis is on par with, if not stronger than that provided by banks or by professional analytical companies, including MCM, Thomson and the offshoot of MMS, G7Forex.
