Q. Can I trade in a base currency other than USD?

A. Our award-winning fx trading platform, DealBookŪ 360, supports multiple currencies so traders do not have to familiarize themselves with another base currency. Currently, this feature supports EUR, JPY, AUD, CHF, GBP, CAD and PLN. DealBookŪ 360 offers you a more natural setting for determining your profits/losses as well as understanding your account statements.

Q. When I log into DealBookŪ 360, a window pops up that reads "Connection options" with a space below it that reads "URL."

A. You may receive this message if the DealBookŪ 360 connection URL is blank or incorrect. In the URL box, enter the necessary URL:

Q. What is the API?

A.The API (Application Programming Interface) offers you the opportunity to connect to GFT's real-time data used in DealBookŪ 360 and other trading platforms. The API offers customers more control over their own applications and access to real-time and historic data, as well as data security and simplified implementation of forex tools. Q. How do I automate my trading strategy in DealBookŪ 360?

A. Automated trading is available in DealBookŪ 360 version 2.8.918.12. To check your version of DealBookŪ 360, click Help -> About in DealBookŪ 360. If you are using an earlier version, please download 2.8.918.12 from:
http://www.gftforex.com/software/DealBook360/download.asp.

To begin automated trading, please read the ATS (Automated Trading Systems) guide available on our download page or from http://www.gftforex.com/documents/manuals/ATS%20Guide.pdf. The guide explains where to create a strategy or indicator, information on functions and code syntax, installing indicators and functions, back-testing, and adding a strategy to a chart for fully automated trading.

Q. Where can I find additional information or support in regards to programming my own strategies and indicators?

A. You can visit the Chart Studio® forum to interact with others who are developing their own indicators, strategies and automated trading systems.

Q. How do I use the crosshair tool on the charts?

A. You can use the crosshair tool by holding down your right mouse button while dragging your mouse pointer across the charts.

Q. How do I access DealBookŪ 360 if I am behind a firewall?

A. With the introduction of DealBookŪ 360, we included a technology called "HTTP tunneling" that, in many cases, will bypass firewall or router restrictions.

To enable HTTP tunneling, select your desired system (live or demo) from the DealBookŪ 360 login window, and     click the three small dots (...) to the left of the login button.

You will be presented with a Connection Options window.

If you are using the live system, change the URL to http://live.gftforex.com:80/naming.ior.

If you are using the Demo system, change the URL to http://demo.gftforex.com:80/naming.ior.

Once changed, check the box labeled "Use HTTP Tunneling" and click "Ok."

If you are able to connect after this, please refer to the firewall manufacturer's instructions, or contact the firewall     manufacturer directly to see how you can add DealBookŪ 360 as a trusted application.

If your next login attempt does not connect, it is likely that your computer has other software firewall restrictions or is using a proxy server. The proxy server has to have ports 17326, 8080 and 443 open for bi-directional traffic. If it is not possible for the proxy server to accommodate this, it may be necessary to request a connection separate from the proxy server in order to facilitate connection to DealBookŪ 360. Please contact your ISP or IT department with these instructions to see how the proxy can be lifted or reconfigured to allow access.

Q. What do I do if I get the message "You are already registered with another demo user"?

A. This message means that you already had another demo account that expired, and you cannot register for another one. If you have an open account with GFT with a balance of over $1000.00, or have begun the account opening process, we can extend your demo account free of charge. Please send your live account number along with with your Demo User ID and we can reactivate and extend your demo account. Contact us now.

Q. What do I do if I get the message "Your demo login has expired?"

A. This means that your demo account is expired and you should contact your Forex specialist or our technical support department.

Q. How do I get my DealBookŪ 360 demo extended if I have a live forex trading account with a balance over $1000?

A. Please contact us with your name, live account number and demo user ID.

Q. How do I enable the Gann fan, Fibonacci tools, calculator and the rest of the tools on my DealBookŪ 360 live account that I had on my demo account?

A. GFT charting services for DealBookŪ 360 are divided into two different packages: DealBookŪ 360 Basic Charting and DealBookŪ 360 Advanced Charting. With our free demo trading account, we provide our prospective customers with the DealBookŪ 360 Advanced Charting package so that the full scope of tools available within DealBookŪ 360 may be experienced. Q. How do I set up SMS alarms in DealBookŪ 360?

A. In DealBookŪ 360, select File -> Configure -> Parameters -> User Details and enter your mobile phone number to begin receiving SMS alerts.

Q. Do you have more information on Fund Manager?

A. Thank you for your interest in our Fund Manager account option. In order to qualify as a money manger and access Fund Manager, it is necessary to be trading more than one account. This can be done by having more than one personal or corporate account in the same name, by having Limited Power of Attorney over multiple accounts, or a combination of these two. To open a live forex trading account with us, please click here to begin.

If you will be trading on behalf of someone else, we do require the Limited Power of Attorney forms to be completed and returned to us. These forms are available here.

You will notice there are two parts to the Limited Power of Attorney. One is to be completed by the customer, the other for the designated Limited Power of Attorney. Also, it should be noted that while having Limited Power of Attorney over an account does give someone else the power to trade the account, the designated person is not able to withdrawal funds from the account. Once you meet the requirements of being a money manager and would like to use the Fund Manager software, please contact us to set up the Fund Manager account. We are also able to offer a demo-training period on the Fund Manager software. To obtain this, please apply for at least three demo accounts using our demo request form.

Please contact GFT with the User IDs that you would like to have linked as a demo Fund Manager.

Q. When I run the demo fix program I get an error message stating that the application is expired and to contact the vendor. What do I do?

A. This error messages means that the demo fix program that you currently have is expired. Due to the nature of the demo fix program, it is time sensitive and has to be run as soon as possible after you receive it. Also, please make sure that your computer clock is set to your correct date and time. If it is set incorrectly, it may cause the fix to prematurely expire. Please contact us to receive the updated fix.

Q. How do I download the latest release of DealBookŪ 360?

A. The latest release of DealBookŪ 360 is available here.

Q. I have a live account but have not received any news messages for a while. How do I fix this?

A. Please contact us to let us know if you are not receiving any news within DealBookŪ 360.

Q. I forgot and lost my demo account login information. How can I get another copy?

A. Please contact us to have your demo login information re-sent to you.
